STATUS: Temporary - maternity leave replacement

SALARY: Class 10 – from $92,258.33 to $121,355.67 / year

SCHEDULE: 33.75 hours per week, DAY; MONDAY to FRIDAY - 08:30 to 16:30

WORKING MODE: Hybrid

WORK LOCATION: Mobility Office, 1333 Chomedey Boulevard

 

The challenges that await you

You will participate in the final stages of implementing the Sustainable Mobility Strategic Plan (PSMD) in collaboration with other members of the Mobility Office (BM), the Laval Transit Corporation (STL), and various municipal services;

You will promote the City and STL's public transport projects to metropolitan organizations and in current funding programs;

You will conduct studies and analyses to formulate recommendations on issues related to public transport infrastructure funding and their operating costs with STL and the City’s finance department (diversification of funding sources, stability of government funding, etc.);

You will participate in the work on various transport and mobility planning documents with the Metropolitan Regional Transport Authority (ARTM) (PSD, new funding sources for public transport, funding policy, fare grid revision, etc.), the Montreal Metropolitan Community (metropolitan arterial network, public transport modal share targets in the PMAD, etc.) or Alto (TGV);

You will work in collaboration with STL and the finance department on the ARTM budget, municipal contributions, and STL compensation;

 

The ideal profile for us
  • Hold a bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, engineering, urban planning, or any other relevant training for the position;
  • Have a minimum of 8 years of experience in public transport planning and financing;
  • Have a good understanding of public transport issues in the metropolitan region of Montreal.
